Courses: The mathematics department at Citrus is committed to providing a high quality, rigorous math education to all of its students. We also offer intervention for our students who have not passed the CAHSEE.
The Algebra I requirement may be completed by taking Algebra 1-1 and 1-2 over four grading terms for a total of 10 credits. In addition to Algebra 1, 10 credits of Geometry or higher,(Algebra 2) must be completed. Check out our Math Flow Chart to see what you need to complete in order to earn a diploma.
During the 2008/2009 school year, our department adopted the Glencoe series for our math textbooks. These books have many online resources such as student workbooks, homework help and online calculators. See the Student Resources page for links to the Glencoe Site.For our CAHSEE prep classes, we adopted "Measuring Up". This series also comes with online resources.
